Ingalls
Crossing is an old-fashioned,
traditional
breakfast-only guest
lodging with a small under-counter fridge. We keep it stocked with
milk, juice, and yogurt for your use. There are no cooking
facilities. Guests are expected to take lunch and dinner
elsewhere, and should not bring in coolers of food. Williamstown has
a
wide variety of
excellent restaurants
serving lunch and dinner.
It is
somewhat difficult for us to accommodate very last minute
reservations, so please reserve at least a
few days in advance.
Your
reservation
is not complete until we have your deposit in hand.
We are unable to accommodate special dietary
requirements.
We cannot
accommodate pets, but we will be happy to
provide you with referrals to local pet-boarding facilities.
We
cannot accommodate extended stays or weddings.

Please
be prepared to use PayPal to make your deposit. We will send you an invoice through
PayPal, and you will be able to
remit your deposit with a credit card, even if you do not have (or wish
to have) a PayPal account.
PayPal
is available in
many countries, and is by far the easiest
way to make an international deposit.
Deposits should be timely, we will not hold rooms
without one.

For
reservations made within one week of arrival, or for 1-night
reservations, the full reservation amount will be collected as deposit.
For other advance
reservations, one-half the full reservation
amount will be collected as deposit.
We
will email you a confirmation of your reservation when we receive
your deposit, and will include driving directions
within Williamstown.

CANCELLATIONS and REFUNDS: Regrettably,
cancellations and last-minute changes in reservations have become much
more numerous in recent years, leaving us with open rooms when other
inquiries have been turned away. We have toughened our policies
as a result. We understand that people have busy,
unpredictable lives, but our tiny establishment is not in a position to
absorb the losses resulting from changes and cancellations.
Please make firm plans when reserving at Ingalls Crossing.
~ All deposits are non-refundable, but we will
hold a credit for
you against a future reservation.
~ Reservation amount IN FULL will be collected as
deposit
for Williams Event, Commencement, Family and Reunion weekends.
Because these dates are in great demand, and yet have historically
proven to be
subject
to frequent last-minute changes/cancellations, this
deposit
is firmly non-refundable.
~ Deposit exceptions are at the
owners'
discretion.
